WILLIAM BRONAUGH
WILLIAM BRONAUGH, farmer and stock-raiser, P. O. Olathe, was born in Kentucky in 1832. Here he assisted his father in conducting a hotel for two years, and was for the same length of time employed as a clerk in mercantile business. In 1854 he removed to Jackson County, Mo., where he engaged in farming. In August, 1856, he came to Kansas, and the following February located on his present farm. He owns 160 acres of land, all well improved, on which there is a fine orchard of his own planting, of about three acres. He is Treasurer of the District School Board. Mr. Bronaugh was married in Kentucky in 1859, to Nancy Hunt. They have four children--Lila, John, George and Lena.
