A. Fritz
A. Fritz was born Jan. 26th, 1828, in Montgomery county, Penn. He came to Kansas in March ’58, and located on his present homestead. In ’62 he was united in marriage to Miss Mary A. Cunningham, of this county, and formerly of Fredericksburg, Va. Her mother is living in the family at the age of 72. A view of his residence will be found in this work. Mr. Fritz served in the militia, and is a thorough go-a-head farmer. Morally, physically, and financially he is one of the solid men of the county. He usually manages in a way that all his crops return him a profit, and annually handles cattle sufficient to consume his surplus grain.
