George W. Frain
Geroge W. Frain was born in Michigan in 1834. He came to Kansas in March ’57, locating in Douglas County. He came to this county in September, and took a claim in Lexington Township. For five years he was engaged in running a saw mill. From ’59 to ’60 he owned and operated the De Soto Ferry. He married Miss C. L. Rolfe in ’59. They have a family of four children.
