J. F. Femmer
J. F. Femmer is a native of Germany; born in 1832; and came to the U. S. locating at St. Louis. He went to Franklin co., Mo., in ’54; to Kansas in ’58, locating on his present homestead on Captain Creek in ’60. In ’63 he enlisted in company L. 15th Kas. Vol. Cavalry, and was mustered out in ’65. He has a family of five children—three sons and two daughters.
