C. Delahunt
C. Delahunt was born in County of Wicklow, Ireland, Feb. 9, 1831; came to the United States in ’48, and located in Galena, Ill. He came to Kansas in ’56, and located on the S. W. ¼ Sec. 13, T. 13, R. 22, being one of the earliest settlers of his township. He served in the militia in Col. Keopler’s regiment. Being a wide-awake farmer, he “houses” his implements, shelters his stock, and is surrounding his dwelling with shrubbery and trees in a way that is calculated to make home pleasant and his family agreeable. He married Miss. Martha C. Rector, and has a family of five children living at home.
