Joseph Davidson

Joseph Davidson was born in the county of Derham, England, in 1821; came to the United States in ‘49, and located in Washington, District of Columbia, and for a time (in the administration of President Pierce,) he was foreman on the public works at Washington. He came to Kansas in ’56, and brought his family in ’57, and located on the head of Kill Creek. In ’65 he located in Monticello Township, on Mill Creek, where he has an excellent fram well improved. He has a family of three daughters and two sons—two sons at home.
