L. F. Clark
L. F. Clark was born in Concord, Mass., in 1828. His father, grandfather, and great-grandfather were all born in the same town-L. F. was engaged in farming until he was 25 years of age, then went to Virginia, and in ’57 came to Kansas, and located on his present homestead. During the Pike’s Peak excitement in ’59, he went with a hand cart to within 60 miles of Denver, and then returned. IN ’63, he enlisted in company G., 47th Massachusetts infantry, and in ’64 was discharged. In ’66 he returned to his farm in McCamish Township, where he hopes (some time in the future) to live pleasantly, with a partner for life.
