Did you know?

The City of DeSoto was founded in 1857 and named for the Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto¹.

Cedar Creek Road: Named after Cedar Creek, a small stream that enters Kansas about 1.5 miles east of DeSoto².

Kill Creek Regional Park: County Park located near 116th and Homestead Lane in DeSoto. The Kill Creek stream runs through the area and is the namesake for this park³.
